Cute Mini Album

The idea for this album came from an kit that Archiver's had. They didn't have anymore the day I went to get one, but they had a finished one on display. My friend and I looked at how it was made and made mental notes. When we got home we wrote down what we remembered and I made one the next day so I wouldn't forget.

This book goes together really quickly.

Alcohol ink Cards

I made these cards using Ranger alcohol inks. I just put drops on the Tim Holtz Adirondack Alcohol Ink applicator and pounced it on glossy card stock. Once it was dry, which doesn't take long with the alcohol inks, I used Staz On to stamp the images.

This one was made for a co-worker's birthday. I actually did this card by candle light. I was in the middle of working on it when we lost power. I had to finish it since her birthday was the next day. Not bad for not having good light.

New Home Card

I made this card for a co-worker to give to his daughter who had just bought a house. He told me she really liked books, so I tried to create a "library" feel with the desk and chair. I found the original house card on the internet, sorry I don't remember where. I added the "my dollhouse" with my gypsy.

The flowers are prima and I used flower soft for the "leaves"

I added pop dots to give the scene some depth

Word Book for a Pet

This one I made for a co-worker's dog. He has an Autralian Terrier and is doing shows with him so he wanted something he could put some of the pictures in.

Sesame Street Name book

I made this for a co-worker in Canada. She was in our office for a meeting and saw one I made for another lady and wanted one for her nephew. She choose a Sesame Street theme and let me tell you all those little pices needed to make those characters are difficult to work with. The book is about 5 1/2 by 12 at the longest page.

Mini Albums Galore

During my absence I was "recruited" to make several mini albums for people at work.

These were all custom made using my Gypsy and Cricut. The themes of the books were given to me by my "customers" so that's why some may seem strange.

I'm back...

I've been gone for quite a while, life just got too busy, but I'm back now. I have lots of artwork to post and even a couple giveaways.

I'll start with a few new artwork creations to get going. Check back often because I'll be posting much more regularly.

Until next time. . .

Close to My Heart February Stamp of the Month Blog Hop...

Welcome again to the Close to my Heart Stamp of the month Blog Hop. We have several talented ladies again this month ready to show off their talents with a really fun stamp set.

If you've come from Shirley's site you're on the right track.

I needed a gift bag for my daughter's friend and I thought this stamp set would be perfect for a bag and tissue.

I used Juniper, Tulip, Creme Brulee, and Sorbet.

Now hop on over to Laurie Newton's blog and see what wonderful and creative project she has waiting.
